Job Title: Multimedia Staff (Full-Time)
Job Objective: To help manage the communications work of Tebtebba, specifically its social media accounts, and assist in the delivery of Tebtebba’s communications strategy
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Help manage the communications work of Tebtebba, focusing on Social Media:
- Development of social media content, memes, video clips, etc.
- Using social media-related software for graphics and video (e.g., Canva, Crello, Adobe Premiere etc.)
- Draft articles through:
- Soliciting articles from the different programmes staff or interviewing them for information, etc.
- Documentation of field visits, events coverage, and key informant interviews
- Reviewing and rewriting of existing and/or related documents
- Assist in the creation of multimedia materials needed by the Elatia Indigenous Peoples Training Institute
- Undertake other tasks that are assigned to him/her
Job Specifications
- Excellent knowledge in Social Media, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and the use of SM tools for graphics and video (e.g., Canva, Crello, Adobe Premiere etc.)
- Good command of English
- Preferably, an indigenous person or someone who has the heart for working with indigenous peoples
- Desirably, a graduate of Mass Communications, DevCom, or any other equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Team player and able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be Baguio City, Philippines based.
Terms and Conditions:
- Candidate to the position shall undergo a three-month probationary period after which, an evaluation shall be undertaken on his/her performance to identify areas of improvement
- Regular staff benefits will apply
