Job Title: Multimedia Staff (Full-Time)

Job Objective: To help manage the communications work of Tebtebba, specifically its social media accounts, and assist in the delivery of Tebtebba’s communications strategy

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Help manage the communications work of Tebtebba, focusing on Social Media:
    • Development of social media content, memes, video clips, etc.
    • Using social media-related software for graphics and video (e.g., Canva, Crello, Adobe Premiere etc.)
  2. Draft articles through:
    • Soliciting articles from the different programmes staff or interviewing them for information, etc.
    • Documentation of field visits, events coverage, and key informant interviews
    • Reviewing and rewriting of existing and/or related documents
  3. Assist in the creation of multimedia materials needed by the Elatia Indigenous Peoples Training Institute
  4. Undertake other tasks that are assigned to him/her

 

Job Specifications

  1. Excellent knowledge in Social Media, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and the use of SM tools for graphics and video (e.g., Canva, Crello, Adobe Premiere etc.)
  2. Good command of English
  3. Preferably, an indigenous person or someone who has the heart for working with indigenous peoples
  4. Desirably, a graduate of Mass Communications, DevCom, or any other equivalent; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  5. Team player and able to work with minimum supervision
  6. Must be Baguio City, Philippines based.

 

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Candidate to the position shall undergo a three-month probationary period after which, an evaluation shall be undertaken on his/her performance to identify areas of improvement
  2. Regular staff benefits will apply
